LittleSpots takes content disputes seriously. If you believe that content on LittleSpots infringes your rights, is defamatory, or violates our policies, this page explains how to request its removal.

What content can be reported?

  • Reviews that contain false statements, personal information, hate speech, or other policy violations.
  • Venue listings that contain inaccurate or misleading information.
  • Photos that infringe copyright, contain inappropriate content, or were uploaded without consent.

How to submit a takedown request

To report content for removal, please email us at takedown@littlespots.co.uk with the following information:

  • Your full name and email address.
  • The URL or description of the content you are reporting.
  • A clear explanation of why you believe the content should be removed.
  • If applicable, your relationship to the venue or subject of the content.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.

What happens next

When we receive a valid takedown request, we will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt within 2 working days.
  2. Review the reported content against our policies and applicable law.
  3. If appropriate, temporarily hide the content while investigation is in progress.
  4. Notify the content author if their content is removed or modified.
  5. Provide a resolution within 10 working days where possible.

Counter-notices

If your content has been removed and you believe the removal was unjustified, you may submit a counter-notice by emailing takedown@littlespots.co.uk with a clear explanation of why you believe the content does not violate our policies or applicable law.

Venue owners

If you are a venue owner and believe a review is unfair but does not violate our policies, we encourage you to read our review policy first. We do not remove reviews simply because they are negative, but we do act on reviews that contain false statements of fact, personal attacks, or other policy violations.

Repeat violations

Users who repeatedly violate our policies may have their accounts suspended or terminated. All moderation actions are logged for accountability.
